چکیده
Objectives This is a protocol for Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effect of number PEG‐asparaginase doses on survival and relapse in children adolescents with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL). Secondary association between asparaginase‐associated toxicities (e.g. hypersensitivity, thromboembolism, pancreatitis osteonecrosis). undertake network meta‐analysis (NMA) at dose‐level order to generate rankings used treatment ALL, according their benefits (survival relapse) harms (toxicity).

L-asparaginase induced hyperlipidaemia in acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
OBJECTIVE To evaluate hyperlipidaemia in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) receiving L-asparaginase. METHODS A case-control study carried out between October 2007 and October 2010 with 77 patients undergoing chemotherapy at a teaching children's hospital in Babol, Iran. Patients were treated with anti-leukaemic agents according to the protocols for standard-risk and high-risk ...
متن کاملIntravenous PEG-asparaginase during remission induction in children and adolescents with newly diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Over the past several decades, L-asparaginase, an important component of therapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), has typically been administered intramuscularly rather than intravenously in North America because of concerns regarding anaphylaxis. We evaluated the feasibility of giving polyethylene glycosylated (PEG)-asparaginase, the polyethylene glycol conjugate of Escherichia coli L-a...
متن کاملMyelosuppressive effect of colaspase (L-asparaginase) in initial treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
Analysis of the remission induction phase in three Medical Research Council trials of treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia has provided evidence of the adverse effect of the combination of colaspase (L-asparaginase) with vincristine and prednisolone. Significant myelosuppression, particularly of the granulocytic series, resulted in an increase in Gram-negative sepsis and death during the ...

Asparaginase-associated lipid abnormalities in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
To further elucidate the incidence and potential mechanism of asparaginase-associated lipid abnormalities in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), we serially obtained fasting lipid and lipoprotein studies on 38 of the 43 consecutively diagnosed children with ALL before, during, and after asparaginase therapy. We also evaluated a second population of 30 long-term survivors of childh...
